The convention centre is in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island. From Kowloon it is the cross-harbour tunnel or the MTR, and the tunnel is slower at 9am.
Octopus for transport and convenience stores, cards almost everywhere else. Small dai pai dongs are still cash.
